When a storm frightens the raccoons living in the forest, Red takes the opportunity to show his parents and siblings how the thunder is like a drum beat and the wind a melody. What was scary, becomes fun to dance along with instead!
When everyone dances and sings together, the only memory that remains from the stormy evening is how much fun they had!

The initial Board Book print run of "Red the Raccoon Weathers the Storm" was able to be accomplished through a successful crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter in February of 2021. Thanks to 88 backers who believed in the story, the vision for having a durable board book version of the book was able to come to life!
