Hi! My name is Christina Terhune.

I am an artist, illustrator, mom of two, wife, scientist ... we will just say that I am pretty much multi-classing in life!

While my official background is in Medical Laboratory Science, I began more seriously pursuing art when I decided to stay home with my son and daughter. What began with dabbling in a bullet journal has now become a plethora of stickers, a webcomic, three instagrams, and a children's story book! I just love making cute illustrations that bring a smile to people's faces, especially the faces of my two biggest/littlest fans (thanks Gavin and Morgan for giving your mama lots of inspiration!).

So thanks for checking out my mix of parenting, dungeons and dragons, biology, and the occasional chonky cat! I hope it makes you smile!

Sooo ... what's the deal with this "chubby worm" name?

Behold the 20 year old masterpiece!

When I was in early elementary school I started doodling and as with most beginning artists, some subjects were more realistic than others. My parents thought my chunk of a worm was the cutest, funniest thing and wanting to please my audience I delivered worm after chubby worm. I drew chubby worms on EVERYTHING. My dad's office had them stuck on post-it notes everywhere. Christmas chubby worms with santa hats. Easter chubby worms colored like eggs. Beach chubby worms. Angel chubby worms. You name it, I likely drew a chubby worm of it.

So as silly as it was, this was really where my love of drawing began. These little worm chonkers represented the joy of drawing, the desire to draw things that made someone else smile, and the pride I felt in knowing that those I love the most were invested in my art.
